Before my interview, I went to the library and got a dental assistant book, read over the basic procedures and tried to remember the names of basic instruments so when I had working interview at least I know what instruments the dentists is asking for. Arrive early enough that you can walk into the interview about five minutes early.

Does anyone know how long they usually have you stay for that day?
Example: "I recently completed the Dental Assistant Training Program at Advantage Career Institute Medical & Dental School, where I learned to work with patients, and assisted dentists in general exams and other procedures. Requirements vary per location — sometimes a high school diploma is enough, while other times they need to graduate from an accredited training program.
